  1. Do I now have access to Air Canada's Maple Leaf Lounges?

    Aurora Concierge members may purchase a lounge membership for $99 plus GST for the remainder of 2010. See http://canadiannorth.com/Passenger_Info/Aurora_Concierge.asp for details of the offer and access.

  2. Can I check-in my 3 pieces of luggage when traveling on a Canadian North codeshare flight that is operated by Air Canada?

    The extra piece of luggage is only available on flights operated by Canadian North.

    If you would like to check an extra piece of luggage through to your final destination (if you are commencing travel on a Canadian North operated flight and connecting to a Canadian North codeshare flight, operated by Air Canada), you will be subject to excess baggage fees, payable upon check-in with Canadian North.

    If you are commencing travel on a Canadian North codeshare flight, operated by Air Canada, you will be required to pay excess baggage fees as determined by Air Canada.

  3. Do I receive priority check-in when flying on a Canadian North codeshare flight operated by Air Canada?

    Canadian North is pleased to continue to offer our Aurora Concierge members priority check-in at select airports. Priority check-in with Air Canada is only available to their top tier members as well as STAR Alliance Gold members.

  4. Will I receive my complimentary in-flight beverages when flying on a Canadian North codeshare flight that is operated by Air Canada?

    The benefits we extend to our Aurora Concierge members are for use when traveling on Canadian North operated flights.

  5. Will my segments on Canadian North codeshare flights (operated by Air Canada) count towards my Aurora Concierge status?

    Flights that qualify for Aurora Concierge status are those that are operated by Canadian North.

  6. Will I earn Aeroplan miles when flying on Canadian North codeshare flights?

    Yes. Passengers are entitled to earn Aeroplan miles, provided they are an Aeroplan member.

    When traveling on a flight operated by Canadian North, your Aeroplan miles will appear with the Canadian North flight number.

    When traveling on a flight operated by Air Canada, your Aeroplan miles will appear with the Air Canada flight number.

  7. What happens if my Aeroplan miles don't appear?

    All missing mile requests must go through Aeroplan.

  8. Will I earn Aeroplan status miles when flying on Canadian North codeshare flights?

    Yes. Aeroplan Miles and Aeroplan Flight Segments accumulated on Canadian North codeshare flights count towards obtaining Air Canada Top-Tier status. Please refer to the Air Canada accumulation details.

  9. Will I have expanded Aeroplan access on Canadian North codeshare flights?

    Flights operated by Air Canada must be booked directly through Aeroplan; Canadian North has no control over the available seats.

  10. If I want to make a change on a Canadian North codeshare flight, will my change fee be waived?

    Tickets purchased from Canadian North can be changed for Aurora Concierge members at no charge provided the original fare is available. All space must be booked on Canadian North flight numbers and changes must be requested through Canadian North.

    If you book on a Canadian North flight number with a connection to a Canadian North codeshare flight (operated by Air Canada), Air Canada's fare rules apply to the second flight. This means that you may be subject to a change fee (and possible upgrade charge), according to the applicable fare rule.
