Cargo Service Update

In response to increased cargo demand, we've added dedicated cargo capacity into Yellowknife and the Mackenzie Valley. Our seven days a week cargo service into Norman Wells and Inuvik now includes:

• 737 Combi - Daily service with dedicated cargo space.
   
• Daily Dash 8 service to many of our northern destinations.
   
• Supplemental ground transportation feeder network to ensure that shipments move quickly to their final destination.
   
• These changes will provide enhanced consistency of delivery for all freight, particularly Guaranteed Shipments (GAD) and Express Shipments (EXP). Unknown Shipper

Transport Canada Regulations describe an unknown shipper as any person or company not having a Canadian North Cargo Account or shipping on a regular basis. They are required to complete and sign an Unknown Shipper Verification and Release form prior to tendering cargo for air transportation. Picture identification is required.

Cut Off Times

Canadian North has established cut off times to ensure on-time performance of our scheduled flights and prompt delivery of your cargo:

• Domestic cargo - 90 minutes prior to scheduled departure 
• Transborder / International cargo - one day prior to shipment 
• Dangerous Goods - 3 hours prior to scheduled departure
